Janautica fiberglass kayaks have been hand made in Milan, Italy since 1983 and offer great handling, good looks, and an affordable price point. They are light, strong, straight tracking, fast, maneuverable, easy to repair, and a joy to paddle. Now almost every paddler can afford a top quality fiberglass kayak.
TAKE A LOOK
You can see the difference! A JANAUTICA kayak is worn around the hips, not around the waist like most boats; this reduces windage, and permits the boat to stay on course in a cross wind. The bow and stern keels are the deepest part of the hull…that’s why they track so well. The large hatch lids make cargo loading easy, and the adjustable ergonomic seat with a padded, extra-large rear cockpit rim permits experts to perform advanced maneuvers with comfort not afforded by droopy back-bands. Footrests are adjustable while sitting in the cockpit and the ALASKA, SEAL, AND ANADYR are provided with after-market rudder fittings. DO THEY NEED RUDDERS? NO! Well designed boats don’t usually need rudders but some paddlers like to have everything, and perhaps your paddling conditions require the extra help.
