VICTORIA  is a stable kayak, suited for easily intimidated paddlers who require a nimble, easy turning,  comfortable kayak at a reasonable price point.  It has one compartment in the rear, with a foam/fiberglass bulkhead and a deckplate type rear hatch.  It is priced equivalent to plastic kayaks but the comparison ends there.  This is a performance fiberglass kayak in every sense of the word.  The lack of a front bulkhead allows this kayak to be used by long-legged paddlers.

REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS?

Before Canoe & Kayak magazine came under the wing of a big-time publisher, they used to do kayak reviews that were really worth while.  I'll bet it's been a long time since you saw a review that actually examined the boat, pointed out its good and bad features with a thoroughness that indicated the tester was actually interested in letting you know something about the boat he was testing.  Well, here's a review of the Victoria that was done in just that style in 1995.  It seems long winded, but it's really well worth seeing how things used to be done.

GO TO VICTORIA REVIEW 1995 and enjoy!

SUITABLE for beginners up to 200 lbs. Best used in lakes, calm seas, rivers up to class 2.
