SEAL  is a new boat, which has been built on the ALASKA hull. The major difference is in the bulbous bow which was designed to deflect chop and minimize the amount of water hitting the paddler when traversing disturbed waters. The bow treatment  also helps prevent pearling when surfing. The cockpit in the Seal is smaller than that fitted to the Alaska, allowing a more sea-worthy skirt to be used and providing adequate knee bracing.   The Seal is equipped with front and rear compartments, rubber hatch lids, ergonomic adjustable seat and all the amenities offered in the Alaska, including a comfortable fully battened back rest.  .

             Specs:  15.35' x 22.45"  Weight 50/55 lbs.  Max. Cap. 265

$949.00----- $1049 w/pump

The cockpit is 26" long x 17" wide.               Compare to the Alaska

This boat is best suited for paddlers under 6' in height (due to restricted leg room) and not over 180 lbs. in weight.  It does not have a lot of thigh room and should be restricted to trim paddlers with normal size thighs.    The deck is low in order to minimize windage and prevent weather cocking.  Footrests are easily modified for paddlers up to 6'2" in height.

STABLE   Suitable for beginners & experts.  TRACKS GREAT,  TURNS EASILY

SUITABLE for all paddlers, including novices.   This boat is basically an ALASKA with smaller cockpit and bulbous bow.
