ALASKA PO The PO stands for polyethelene. This boat is longer and slimmer than the Victoria PO - it's faster and a little less stable. It was built for intermediate paddlers and as such is more suitable for learning some of the finer points of kayaking like bracing, and rolling. It's a good first boat for a motivated beginner and is suitable for use in bays, lakes, moderate seas, and up to class 2 rivers. Tracks well and turns easily. The rear hatch lid leads to a thick plastic storage bag - similar to a dry bag and the front of the boat can be used for limited storage by using a dry bag. The boat comes equipped with toggles, crossed elastics on front and rear decks, and we install a comfortable backrest. $549.00
